Target Group
The primary target group of UNWIND is young adult women (18 – 35 years old) who lack skills relevant for the labour market and for this reason face difficulties in accessing employment. The targeted female population should have at least a school diploma and genuine interest to work in the ICT sector. The project activities are open to all members of this target group, yet it should be noted that in selecting the participants in the project activities, priority will be given to women facing double disadvantage, like migrant women, single mothers, Roma women etc.
The secondary target groups include a series of entities that are close either to the labour market and/or young adult lowskilled women, such as:
- Employers in the ICT sector / ICT companies (representatives of the sector in the three countries and at EU level)
- Educational institutions both public and private providing learning and training to the primary target group in TR, GR, DE & EU
- Public bodies (local, regional and/or national) responsible for designing and implementing labour market schemes for young adult low-skilled women in TR, GR, DE & EU
- Intermediary organizations (such as technology hubs, incubators, telecentres, co-working spaces, and other community-based organizations) that facilitate access to technological tools and/or employment in TR, GR, DE & EU
- CSOs supporting women and other relevant non-profit organisations focusing on the empowerment of women and especially those most vulnerable such as low-skilled women in TR, GR, DE & EU
Apart from the above target groups, UNWIND will also target the general pubic in the partner countries and the EU in order to inform and raise awareness about the objectives and results of the action.
